I’ve always loved writing, having enjoyed English essays when I was at school, and am an avid reader of prose and poetry, fiction and non-fiction.  Working in an office environment for years, I think my creative side was in hibernation.  However, I have a great love for people, for languages, and for learning about different countries and cultures and my experiences have broadened and wonderfully coloured my outlook on life.

Recently, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to pursue a previously-unfulfilled desire to study French & Spanish at university.  This has given me a new lease of life and has reignited my love of writing and has enabled me to express myself in new ways and to create and weave words in a way I never even knew I could.

This site is a first for me, I’ve never published anything online (or anywhere else!) before.  I am really enjoying reading people’s hubs, as well as getting comments and feedback on my own hubs, which has been a great encouragement to me so far.
